CHAPTER 7
[Ada pulls into the dock at full speed, shrouded in the fog of the ominous island. Parking gracefully, she pulls out a walkie-talkie.]Ada Wong: Now, find Leon...and Saddler. Leon's headed for their sanctuary. I'll meet him there.
[She draws her weapon and walks forward meeting the Merchant along the way.]
Merchant: Oh... Break's over, I suppose! Oh, what're ya buyin'? Heheh, a wise choice. I know I say that a lot, but I mean it. Rubies or rubbish, it makes no difference. The price, well, that's our choice to make. Thank you! Stocking up while you can? Wise choice. Pleasant travels.
[Ada begins to make her way through the loading area of the docks packed to the brim with various types of zombies.]
Ada Wong: Lights out. Almost there.
[Ada takes the elevator up and out into the open part of the island. There she finds another small Merchant's store.]
Merchant: I can hardly contain myself! You're really gonna do it, stranger! Got a selection of good things on sale, stranger! I'll buy almost anything. Stranger! Oooh, I'll pay a pretty penny for that. I'll hand this over when you've got the space. Will that be all, then? Come back anytime. If you want a fightin’ chance out there, you best tune up your kit! There you are, as you wished. Not enough cash, stranger! Hope to see you again soon, stranger.
[Ada walks into the vast caverns, and comes to a massive door. She gets there just as Lord Saddler is torturing Leon using the parasite in his body.]
Lord Saddler: ...join our covenant! Oh, blessings unto him and the sweet mercy they bring. Exult all—and let it be so!
[Ada fires a machine gun at Saddler and his minions and they briefly black out.]
Ada Wong: Leon! Go!
[While Ada covers Leon takes Ashley and leaves. Ada pulls out a gun and fires at the chain, blocking the passageway he left through so they won't rush after him. Saddler is quite displeased with what is happening. Bullets spill out of his hand that hit him. Ada jumps off the balcony she was standing on, and Lord Saddler begins to partially transform. Two branches grow out of his back and his staff becomes alive.]
Lord Saddler: Wayward lamb, servant of the heretic wolf. This will be your trial and tribulation.
Ada Wong: Tribulation? You're the one in for a world of hurt.
Lord Saddler: There is no escape.
[However, Ada pulls out a rocket launcher and shoots him right at point-blank range. Saddler squirms in pain and falls to the floor.]
Ada Wong: Control, come in. I have the package. This is gonna be hard to explain at customs.
Albert Wesker: Well done, Ada. Evacuate immediately.
Ada Wong: Understood.
Albert Wesker: Someone is coming to pick you up.
[Saddler doesn't seem to be dead, however - his outgrowths are beginning to move. Ada's back is to him at this point.]
Ada Wong: I trust everything is fine on your end too, Leon.
[Saddler's spur turns into a sort of large needle and stabs Ada with a sharp thrust. In the next scene we see her chained to a tower outside and Leon sees this and runs to her.]
Leon S. Kennedy: Ada!
[He shoots the chain holding Ada, and she falls to the floor, still unconscious. Leon himself is attacked by mutant mosquitoes. As he swats them away, Saddler takes him by the throat.]
Leon S. Kennedy: Saddler!
[Ada comes to her senses and uses her hook gun to move closer to Leon. Together they start shooting at Saddler, who only has to cover himself with his arm.]
Lord Saddler: You foul renegade! You have forsaken the Holy Body... the great gift...to become one with us. You require ABSOLUTION!
[While Leon fights Saddler downstairs, Ada jumps upstairs with a sniper rifle.]
Ada Wong: Not long until the bombs on this island start popping off. Time to wrap things up.
[She finds a journal lying on a box.]
[Last Line of Defenses]
Leon still hasn't been dealt with.
I have set up camp beside the ruins so I can lure him in to finish things once and for all. Security at the loading docks has also been put on high alert in case he bypasses the area, and a rocket launcher team has been deployed.
The custom red warheads are also on standby.
But the rookie isn't the only reason I'm improving our defensive capabilities.
Some group is drawing closer the island to steal the Holy Body, and I'm pretty sure I know who.
Without these warheads, I'm going to have a hard time getting rid of these intruders.
Then again, even with them…
Ada Wong: Hm, interesting.
[She surveys her surroundings through binoculars and sees large red cases nearby...]
Ada Wong: Just what I was looking for. I need to hurry.
[She makes her way to the cases through the crowds and throngs of zombies. She has very little time as Leon's life is at stake.]
Ada Wong: I don't have much time!
[She reaches the cases.]
Ada Wong: Oh, deja vu.
[Thank You for Purchasing Our Warheads]
Thank you for your order, Major Krauser.
We are humbled you chose to do business with us, and it is an honor to supply you with our arms.
To briefly explain their features, the warheads you requested are hardened to pierce heavily armored targets. They are painted red to make them easier to identify among similar munitions.
Not only can they penetrate tank armor and pillboxes, but the explosively formed penetrator jet can even perforate a battleship's thick hull.
They are somewhat overpowered, so it is fair to say that there is not a single combat vehicle that can withstand these warheads.
We are in no position to ask how you will use these weapons and it is none of our business, but there is no target that would require the immense destructive power that they possess.
Please use with caution.

[Ada picks up a special rocket launcher with a red rocket already installed. Leon, meanwhile, is getting tired of fighting the giant monster.]
Leon S. Kennedy: I'm getting sick of your shit!
Ada Wong: Time to end this. Hold on, Leon.
[Ada goes to a place to take a shot from and meets Ashley along the way. The girl would like to help, but what can she do against a giant monster?]
Ashley Graham: Leon needs help! Hurry!
Ada Wong: I'm on it.
[Ada climbs onto the crane, moves its load closer to Saddler himself, and jumps onto the load. From there, she drops the rocket launcher to Leon. She could have perfectly well taken the shot herself, but decides that Leon should be the hero.]
Ada Wong: Use this!
[He uses the rocket launcher, after which he takes Saddler's staff from him.]
Leon S. Kennedy: I'll give you a holy body!
[He jams his staff, which, by the way, looks more like a harpoon, into Saddler's eye, or rather a part of his body, and he dies writhing. As Leon lies on the floor, exhausted from the long battle, Ada comes closer and picks up the Amber.]
Leon S. Kennedy: Ada. What the hell are you doing?
Ada Wong: Nothing personal, Leon. Luis and I had an arrangement. Don't worry, I'll take good care of it.
[A helicopter flies up to her.]
Ada Wong: Ride's here. You coming?
Leon S. Kennedy: I think we both know this is where we go our separate ways.
Ada Wong: I see.
[She climbs into the helicopter and the base on the island starts to explode.]
Ada Wong: Better get a move on.
[She tosses him an aquabike key with a little bear as a key chain.]
Leon S. Kennedy: Cute.
Ada Wong: Until next time, Leon.
Ashley Graham: Leon!
[They leave the island and we switch to Ada flying in a helicopter. She puts the Ember she received in her briefcase and turns to the pilot.]
Ada Wong: Patch me through.
[She makes a secure call to her boss, that is, Albert Wesker, sitting somewhere in a secret bunker with a bunch of monitors.]
Ada Wong: I've obtained "the Amber."
Albert Wesker: Excellent.
Ada Wong: Just one question. What are you planning to do with this?
Albert Wesker: I do not pay you to ask questions. All you need to know is a new dawn is breaking. A hundred will give their lives so that just one may live. I am expediting that change.
Ada Wong: So, we're talking millions of casualties.
Albert Wesker: Billions.
Ada Wong: How ambitious.
[She gets up from her seat and points the gun at the pilot.]
Ada Wong: We're changing course. Now.
[She spots Leon riding an aquabike on the sea. Credits. After the credits we see Wesker, who is being told by various sources that Ada has gone on the run. He is calmly reading a file.]
Radio: This is Control! You're flying off course! Report! The pilot isn't responding!
Radio 2: Sir. The explosions failed to detonate simultaneously. Calculated destruction is well below 50% of the estimates. Most of the island remains intact.
Albert Wesker: Oh, Ada. What to do with you?
Radio 2: Her chopper is still within range, sir. Should we open fire?
Albert Wesker: No. Her little act of defiance changes nothing. Besides, we have all we need. We continue...as planned.
[On a table not far from him lies some kind of mutated monster. Wesker walks out onto the deck of the ship he's on. The sky is lit by the setting sun.]
Albert Wesker: Soon the sun will set on the age of man.
[He smiles.]
